Program Committee

Selects speakers for the breakfast meetings throughout the year in support of the TOG annual theme and membership survey information.

Special Projects

Plans, coordinates and implements all social events which are of interest to the members such as after-work socials, retreats, parties, etc. to include the Annual Holiday Party.

Guest/New Members

Greets guests at each breakfast meeting and maintains contact information on all guests. Organizes and implements New Member Parties each year in order to honor and welcome new members. Presents new members to the board for voting purposes for membership.

Membership Communications

Maintains list of members and provides updates to the Membership Directory each year. Arranges photos for Directory and prepares and distributes Membership Directory of all paid members annually. Responsible for annual renewal of membership.

Philanthropy

Develop and implement philanthropic activities with community organizations, scholarship programs, and the membership Caring Committee.

Education

Organizes and implements at least three educational/entertainment events for the current year utilizing membership survey information.

Meeting Coordination

Gathers breakfast reservations and fees from membership and guests, coordinates needs for special equipment for breakfast meetings, acts as liaison with the membership facility for food, arrangements, payment for service etc. Manages nametags and greets membership for breakfast meetings.

Networking

Organizes and coordinates programs for Networking Breakfast Meetings. Key contact for TPG’s special interest groups and the Federation of Houston Professional Women.

Newsletter

Prepares and distributes monthly newsletter to membership, active and guests. Maintains, publishes and collects payment for member ads.
